Art and all it may be to one being to another

The term and meaning of the word "art," was pegged as definition around the years from 1750 or so,defined as skill or a gift of nature for the human thoughts and emotions to aesthetically express the inner self to be presented in a form for others to contemplate. Relate to and share with in dance, harmony, rhythm, colors, shapes, smells, tastes, feelings, as if almost a complete sharing of ones soul to another to feel.
As in any part of life one may see comfort in a work as another may be annoyed, dismayed, embarrassed or possibly not understand the same intent of expression.
True art whether it be a painting, sculpture, landscape, architecture, music, or poetry, can be enveloped as an orgy of sorts that some may see a common attraction to as others may feel invaded or disoriented.
One thought comes to mind as I was a child asking if I saw the color blue through someone else's eyes; would it in fact look the same through your eyes as does through mine?
Taste an orange as I do. Does that taste as orange to you the same as me? Do you run and hide your head when the rain comes? As I may get naked and enjoy the shower in a patch of clover.
Art in itself as if becoming an entity that holds mystery and may give reason of contemplation to put a familiar caricature to address the unknown.
Who has seen and drawn the true face of God? Could you only imagine? Would it just be a babbling blunder of colors and confusion? Possibly a blank white page or a pinhole of white on a vast black landscape.
In search of the perfect harmony that if all the people of the world sang in tune at the same time in the universal clock possibly the pure note of all mankind at once may instantly stop hatred, jealousy, evil would have to give in to peace possibly. Or maybe deliberately sing out of key to cause a tsunami in the perfect ripple of harmony.
This is art to me and all it encompasses, but I am just a mere mortal typing a mad mans thoughts on a digital screen that invades the privacy of my fortress and I have not copyrights on my paranoid thoughts.
The words are for you, and you too, and she, and he, and them to judge, feel, think, rewrite, your original idea we discover it has all been done before at one time or another.
Art is what we do on a daily basis in our modern world while continually creating, improving, destroying, rebuilding. And somewhere on the other side of the world on some small island a tribe of happy people with no television, no electricity, no 9 to 5 job, take care of their children, build their grass huts, hunt and fish. They wear minimal amounts of garments as there is no shame in their purity. They play games, dance, create, paint their faces in ceremonial fancy. They in themselves are master works of art as human beings, being human.
That is art and all it encompasses.
Pick up a rock and a stick and a reed and hollow logs in different measurements to create the perfect song that all dance, play, sing together in harmony, with no evil speed bumps singing out of tune.
YES , this is art. And all of what it may encompass.

Contributor's Note

Your true grit is only worth the salt you put in it. To much and it's unpallatable, not enough and it's tasteless
